Kitchenware
It’s difficult to separate my pottery into categories because all of it is designed to be decorative and most of what you see in kitchenware can also be used for serving. What I try to accomplish with every piece is to make it feel good in your hands. The full round quality of the pitchers, honey jars, berry bowls and many of my other pots, combined with a smooth texture and rich colors, invite the user to linger awhile and enjoy a satisfying tactile and visual clay experience.
Single color glaze application:
Oatmeal, tenmoku (dark brown), blue rutile and turquoise green.
Multi color glaze application:
Oatmeal with blue rutile, oatmeal with blue rutile and tenmoku, tenmoku with blue rutile, tenmoku with blue/green seafoam, bone white with black brush painted grasses and orchids.
Colors will vary from one kiln firing to another.
All my work is dishwasher safe, microwaveable and can be used in the oven. Care instructions for oven use will be included in the shipment.
